Flagstick Undertakes Development of a New 36-Hole Project in Dali, China, with a Focus on "Green" Construction

August 2011

Flagstick will soon begin work at Dali Reignwood, a Nicklaus "Legacy" Design Course, meaning that Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II are both involved.

The first of the championship layouts will stretch along a mountainside, offering stunning panoramic views from 400 meters above Lake Erhai, one of China’s seven largest freshwater lakes. The second course meanders its way through rolling valley terrain, with densely vegetated hillsides that create a beautiful setting for golf.

The development methods at Dali Reignwood will emphasize "green" construction practices to ensure an environmentally friendly and sustainable atmosphere. Construction is scheduled to begin in September, and all 36 holes will be completed by the spring of 2013.
