Martin Moore Shares Insights on Construction Management at the Asia Golf Show in Guangzhou, China

Flagstick took part in the first panel discussion of last month’s Asia Golf Show. The panel, titled “Launch it Right,” featured leaders in golf course construction and maintenance. Flagstick’s president, Martin Moore, spoke about the importance of selecting an experienced project team and the proper consultants, and the value of pre-construction planning. Justin Apel, Executive Director of the Golf Course Builders Association of America, focused on proper material selection and usage of reputable suppliers and vendors. Rhett Evans, CEO of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, spoke about a range of agronomic issues. Moderated by Arthur Yeo, former GM of Spring City, the panel also stressed the need for environmentally friendly practices.
